Today, my heart feels heavy. Though I am only 400 kilometers away due to work, the distance feels immense when I think about my little daughter, Navya. She is just 2 years old, but her love and longing for her papa are so profound.
Every hour, Navya's sweet voice asks, "Where is papa?" Each time I hear this, my heart aches. Even in her sleep, she wakes up suddenly, searching for me and asking her mom, "Where is papa?" It's incredible how deeply she feels my absence, and it makes me realize just how much she means to me.
Shivani, my wonderful wife and Navya's amazing mom, shares with me that they both are looking for me in every nook and cranny of our home. It’s as if they expect me to appear any moment, to hold them and tell them everything is okay. Shivani’s strength and patience in comforting our little one in my absence is truly inspiring.
Navya, my precious, I miss you more than words can express. Your laughter, your tiny hands holding mine, your curious eyes searching for me—it’s all etched in my heart. I want you to know that even though I am physically away, my thoughts and my love are always with you.
